The 2nd Cameron Trip

Its me again on my second cameron trip. It was really fun as I was on a free and easy trip. It was freezing cold when I alighted from the bus early in the morning at 7 am. I went straight to the rainbow hotel with Zihui in disappointment that my phone bookings was not registered. I almost fainted ! Luckily the hotel personnel was nice enough to let me have 3 person bedroom shortly at around 10am after a customer checks out of the room. (Yeah! Pay the price of a twin's room but got a triple's one).

After we unpack our lugguages, we went for a nice lunch at Restoran Ferm Nyonya. We happened to meet the bossof the resturant ( Eric) and he gave us a ride to his resturant which specialise in steamboat, it was really nice. ( I was too hungry, forgot to take pictures of the steamboat). This is a picture of the bus station but sadly there is only a few of them.

Shortly after lunch, we managed to find a tour agent in Tanah Rata called C.S Travel & Tours SDN BHD. This is one of the cheapest tour agency but it has really good itinery. We picked the country tour and began our adventure in the cool country side.

Our first stop was the Rose Valley. Cameron Highlands is one of the leading producer of flowers and its main productions is Rose and carnations.

Besides flowers and wonderful scenery, I also took photos with snow white and the nice little cute house found on top of the hill. Look at all the cute statues.

Next we went to the Sam Poh Temple. It was not a fantastic Temple but there stays the Shifu who is very "ling". Then we went to the Butterfly Farm ( eek very scary can touch insects 1). You can even carry the gigantic turtle if you like ^_^

Next we went to blue valley tea farm. We were scheduled to go to Boh Tea but the road was in construction so we went to blue valley instead. If given a chance, it will be great to go for the morning tour and get to see the making of the tea.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! Next up we went to the apiary farm and the strawberry farm where we had our delicious strawberry ice cream. You can even pick the strawberries. The apairy farm sells really good and fresh honey and I bought a big bottle back. Beside the strawberry farm, there is a big catus farms which I saw many different species and sizes of catus I never saw before. It was really a ver educational trip.

Cameron's latest highlight is this small time tunnel located near Lok Lim strawberry at 39100 Brinchang. In here, you will be able to see the transformation of the old cameron highlands to now the more developed look. In addition, you will be able to see the owner's display of his very own collections of antiques and different kind of ancient equipment. In here, you will feel like you are walking into a 1970s settings with all the stuffs your grandparents has been through in their days. Its pretty cool!

It was a wonderful trip and Cameron Highlands is the place where you could enjoy the life of living in a countryside. The air is very fresh and the cool breeze brightens up your day. If you all ever feels like going and will like to live near town ( Brinchang), can consider living in Star Regency ( 05-4915133) or Rainbow Hotel (05-4914628). In addition, you could get fresh strawberry from Soon Lee's strawberry farm. There is this nice lady that will pack the freshest strawberries on special request that we want to bring it out to Singapore. Cameron Highlands

Hey Friends,
I am just back from Cameron Highlands... The travelling is definitely hell .. The trip there was like 9 hrs and the bus keep turning for 2 hrs non-stop so did my poor head it spins for 2 hrs non stop... The weather was cold... I guess it was around 20 degrees... I wore long pants all the time so if any of u is interested in going up there, dont bother to bring any shorts .. The strawberries is nice and i got to visit the catus valley .. There were so many different type of catus, some look like durain others have beatiful flowers on it .. It looks real cool... The interesting thing about cameron highlands is that the apples does not shape like the normal kind instead it is round... I almost didnt recognise that as apple.. lol... The hotels were great it was big and spacious... The room felt air conditioned all the time even though there wasn't even a fan.. It was really a great experience (except for the travelling part). Everything was superb, even a chance i will definitely go again ...

Hong Kong Trip

Yesterday i landed back in Singapore at 1145 pm .. This ended my 6 days Hong Kong Trip ... It was really a fun and fulfuilling trip... Although there was really a lot of things to buy but too bad i was too poor ... sobz ... And my friend said that bcos the 3 of us went to HK thus we was not considered in the interview for the job sobz ... no job for the moment.... heee !! but it was really fun and there was really so much things to shop... we went to disneyland and took a lot of photos w all the disney characters.. they were all so lovely ... we told the cinderella wheel and its was so fun just like what i always see on the tv shows... we also sat on some space mountain thingy .. where it seems really like a roller coaster ... so scary and giddy.... we went shenzhen on the 3rd day .. although we didn't go to the landmark introduce by the tour guide but i guess next time if we have a chance, we will definitely check it out at these places--- shi jie zhi chuang ( where we can see a minature size of all the popular world's landmark), Xiao ren guo ( where we can see a miniature size of all the china's landmark ) and there is also a place where we can experience the culture of the 55 others minority culture in China. It sounds really interesting isn't it . Shopping at shenzhen is really a tiring one, we must keep on bargaining and they always set ridiculous prices and willing to accept up to 1/3 of the prices. There is a salesboy ( heee looks super young) at a museum, he told us that the locals will bargain to 10 % of the offer prices, next time all of u can try if you all shop at shenzhen. We only shop at luo hu that day because it was raining quite heavily..

On the 4th day, we went up to lantau island to see the big Buddha... But the weather was bad for sightseeing as it was foggy and we can hardly see the Buddha... We had to climb flights and flights of stairs and finally got to the top of the mountain... One of the interesting happenings is at the toilet.. when mi n qi entered the toilet , there was a lady standing up w half the body out of the toliet door!~!! The toilet door is so low !!!! hee it was the first time i entered this kind of toliet ... omg ! how glad that no toilets in spore is not like this!

Then on the fifth day, we went on a shopping spree... hee ooo there is a mongkok shopping center where everything is so much cheaper compared to the streets and shenzhen.... hee it was so much fun .. on the last day we went for some last minute shopping.. the gates in the airport is so far from the airport and we have to run all the way to catch the plane .. phew! we are in a tight schedule every day .... hee it was so much fun going w my friends...

Yippee!! Finally finish all my projects!

Dear Friends,

It has been a long while since i blog.. opps .. its because i forgotten my user account besides i am busy .. heee oh no i am always so blur... Anyway its time to reflect... Hee these few mths is really super hectic with FYP and 304 and 306 projects... Finally its all over but like xian has said " the exams are here soon!!"... Now then i realise i really got tonnes of notes that i haven read , all the piles of SSAs and the tonnes of political econs are killing me soon ...

I want to share a piece of gd news .. hee i passed my driving .. can u believe it ? My dad say i must at least take 6 times... The tester was really so nice.... He skipped both directional change in the circuit and he did not ask me to make any U turn... wa guess this was really pure luck .. I stalled my engines twice on the slope .. luckily the car did not slide more than 1 m .. hee after the tets i went to qi hse .. and i got a paper and drew out the enous circuit and note down the impt pts like where exactly to park then won't mount curb .. so if u all need it just give me a call k ... haha I think its quite comprehensive cos i really mount every possible curb and make every possible wrong turn .. haha my instructor can't understand how come i can do that too... But all in all i thinkn my instructor really helped me a lot and it is really through all his nagging... I used to find him very bad cos he like to "eat" my time and some times ask me to alight at strange location where I have to walk to the bus stop.. But then after talking to cindy i realised that her instructor is so much worst .. And my instructor really charge very cheap $20/hr so if you all interested i can intro so u can get at the price ...

I guess i have been a hermit for so long... last month i accidentally fell down the stairs .. and then my leg is still swollen till now .. sobz .... I went for an X-ray and then to chinese physician but it seems to be of not much help ... think i will nid to go for "needle treatment"....
Hee today my friends told mi that chameleon eyes can roll... ooo i really didn't know man ..

The most exciting thing i am looking forward to will be the HK trip after graduation ... hee i hope there will be a lot of things to look at ... I oso hope to go back to oceansky and kpmg to find my collegues for lunch ... I also want to go crusie w qi .. and to chalet .... sigh but be that i have so much exams and quizes ...... Jia you !!

Starting of school life

It has been quite some time since i last blogged. School has started after the 8 weeks of PA. Sigh, school is more busier than ever.. First day of school and there is piling of notes on my table.. hee I doubt i can finish them and FYP is another big headache as the dateline is not too far away..

During the second day of sch, a friend who i knew around 2 months requested me to be his gurantor for the phone .. sigh I never agree to it and i felt quite bad about it .. Although I trust that he wont default but I will definitely get a good scolding from my parents if I agree to it .. Do you all think i am very bad?

Anyway I have another friend, she is saving up for her overseas trip with us.. hee I hope she will win 4 D or toto haha or any other lucky draw so she can enjoy last sem in sch..

Although school is very hectic, but its the last semester already.. I think I will really miss school life and hall life.. Next time when I graduate, I can no longer walk to my neighbours room and talk to them.. sobz 3 years almost pass in a blink of eyes...

Kkz lets not talk about sad things.. New year is coming soon .. Hee allof us will be getting ang baos and eating so much that we might put on 2 kg after the new year.. Hee my friends went to china town today to buy ba gua and they line up for 3 hours.. Wa so long !! So you all better appreciate the ba gua u see on your tables because the person who bought it might have stand for few hours to buy the ba gua.. hee ..

New Client

Hee... It been days since i last blogged... Few days back, I think is sun, I happened to watch Get real on channel news Asia.. This week's programme was featuring the cases of pregnant women being retrenched, or coerce to quit their job. While I was watching the show, I was feeling kind of disappointed with their employers. There was 3 women who picked up the courage to go through with Diana Ser the host of the programme. They was sharing how their employers retrenched them just to save maternity benefits and they even restort to giving excuses that it was inconvenient for them to hire temporary workers to take over the position when they are on maternity leave. Sinagpore has always been promoting us to give birth to more children but after watching the programme, it suddenly made me realise the hard reality behind. It is not easy to raise a kid in Singapore with such a high living standards, I never expect that it was also hard to accept all the setbacks of pregnancy like retrenchment. I can't imagine the hurt the pregnant women harbour in addition to their additional physical burden from carrying the new life. Maybe we all should start thinking where did humanity went to? Perhaps it got lost in the stressful and competitive world we are living in today.

Hee kkz not so much of the world... Now coming back... I left 3 days to end my PA... Yipee!! I guess I will miss all my collegues badly... I feel that althought you have to work very hard in KPMG, even till dawn but you will have chance to meet very nice people... Today I went to a new company in tuas... The smell of the place is bad although the people there are quite nice... The toliet is really terrible!! You all must be thinking that it is smelly and filthy. haha NO!! It is very clean and nice but the door is terribly heavy. I think it weigh a tonne... Sobz I was locked in the toliet twice today ... Luckily the accountant and my G2 came to my rescue... I can't understand why I simply can't open the door... So I started to pull very hard, making a lot of noise and wait for people to rescue me.. Lol so pai say... The CEO of the company even came to teach me how to handle the door haha but then the second time i went in I was still locked in.. It was really very very heavy ..
Haha.. Hope the rest of days when I am there I will figure how to come put of the washroom myself.. Lol... Wish me luck !!

Some interesting encounters

Life is just like a garden full of mystery. Remember I was talking to you all about the clover. Today my senior bought the clover and guess what she was really lucky today. Although u might attribute it to coincidence but perhaps its real. My senior went to speak to a very difficult client but everything was smooth sailing today. Today we went to the client's place at 3++ due to some unforseen delays in the office. By the time my senior reached the office, she was feeling a bit thirsty, probably because she slept at 430 am yesterday night so dehydration. ( Side track: Yesterday the epoch times I read that sleep is very important, it makes us more awake and facilitate learning and working. P.S. My mummy say sleep from 11 to 2am makes us younger .. Sobz so late liao i haven sleep). Coming back, so my senior was feeling so thirsty so she really hope for a cup of plain water to quench her thirst, so she hope very hard holding the clover in her hand. Guess what the aunt came in around 10 min later to ask if we will like some water. Normally the aunt will only come once in the morning around 10+ and afternoon around 1+ and she seldoms ( almost never) makes the third trip.

The most lucky thing happened when we wanted to get a cab back to the office. Most of us should know how hard it is to get a cab after office hour. We waited for around 5 min and we decided to ask our senior to hope that the cab will come ( we was trying to test if the clover is really lucky) with the clover in her hand. Surprisingly 5 min later an empty cab appeared but sadly there was another woman right ahead of us so the cab aunt stop in front of her. For a moment we was really disappointed and thought that the clover might just be an accessory after all. In the end, guess what, the cab aunt didn't want to go to the location and instead she picked us up instead. Cool! It was really an interesting encounters! Don't you all agree. In the cab, we was describing about the clover to the aunt ( driver) and she decide she will have to get one too . Lol ! Cute aunt, she is call Jenny!!

And today I went with my secondary good friends to eat. We had Asian kitchen for dinner and we went to Ben and Jerry to eat the ice-cream. Wow! It was really nice but guess I got to work harder with my OTO now since I am growing sideways... Sobz ! Any idea how I can make my arms smaller... Hee do feel free to drop me comments k !!
