Starting of school life

It has been quite some time since i last blogged. School has started after the 8 weeks of PA. Sigh, school is more busier than ever.. First day of school and there is piling of notes on my table.. hee I doubt i can finish them and FYP is another big headache as the dateline is not too far away..

During the second day of sch, a friend who i knew around 2 months requested me to be his gurantor for the phone .. sigh I never agree to it and i felt quite bad about it .. Although I trust that he wont default but I will definitely get a good scolding from my parents if I agree to it .. Do you all think i am very bad?

Anyway I have another friend, she is saving up for her overseas trip with us.. hee I hope she will win 4 D or toto haha or any other lucky draw so she can enjoy last sem in sch..

Although school is very hectic, but its the last semester already.. I think I will really miss school life and hall life.. Next time when I graduate, I can no longer walk to my neighbours room and talk to them.. sobz 3 years almost pass in a blink of eyes...

Kkz lets not talk about sad things.. New year is coming soon .. Hee allof us will be getting ang baos and eating so much that we might put on 2 kg after the new year.. Hee my friends went to china town today to buy ba gua and they line up for 3 hours.. Wa so long !! So you all better appreciate the ba gua u see on your tables because the person who bought it might have stand for few hours to buy the ba gua.. hee ..

New Client

Hee... It been days since i last blogged... Few days back, I think is sun, I happened to watch Get real on channel news Asia.. This week's programme was featuring the cases of pregnant women being retrenched, or coerce to quit their job. While I was watching the show, I was feeling kind of disappointed with their employers. There was 3 women who picked up the courage to go through with Diana Ser the host of the programme. They was sharing how their employers retrenched them just to save maternity benefits and they even restort to giving excuses that it was inconvenient for them to hire temporary workers to take over the position when they are on maternity leave. Sinagpore has always been promoting us to give birth to more children but after watching the programme, it suddenly made me realise the hard reality behind. It is not easy to raise a kid in Singapore with such a high living standards, I never expect that it was also hard to accept all the setbacks of pregnancy like retrenchment. I can't imagine the hurt the pregnant women harbour in addition to their additional physical burden from carrying the new life. Maybe we all should start thinking where did humanity went to? Perhaps it got lost in the stressful and competitive world we are living in today.

Hee kkz not so much of the world... Now coming back... I left 3 days to end my PA... Yipee!! I guess I will miss all my collegues badly... I feel that althought you have to work very hard in KPMG, even till dawn but you will have chance to meet very nice people... Today I went to a new company in tuas... The smell of the place is bad although the people there are quite nice... The toliet is really terrible!! You all must be thinking that it is smelly and filthy. haha NO!! It is very clean and nice but the door is terribly heavy. I think it weigh a tonne... Sobz I was locked in the toliet twice today ... Luckily the accountant and my G2 came to my rescue... I can't understand why I simply can't open the door... So I started to pull very hard, making a lot of noise and wait for people to rescue me.. Lol so pai say... The CEO of the company even came to teach me how to handle the door haha but then the second time i went in I was still locked in.. It was really very very heavy ..
Haha.. Hope the rest of days when I am there I will figure how to come put of the washroom myself.. Lol... Wish me luck !!

Some interesting encounters

Life is just like a garden full of mystery. Remember I was talking to you all about the clover. Today my senior bought the clover and guess what she was really lucky today. Although u might attribute it to coincidence but perhaps its real. My senior went to speak to a very difficult client but everything was smooth sailing today. Today we went to the client's place at 3++ due to some unforseen delays in the office. By the time my senior reached the office, she was feeling a bit thirsty, probably because she slept at 430 am yesterday night so dehydration. ( Side track: Yesterday the epoch times I read that sleep is very important, it makes us more awake and facilitate learning and working. P.S. My mummy say sleep from 11 to 2am makes us younger .. Sobz so late liao i haven sleep). Coming back, so my senior was feeling so thirsty so she really hope for a cup of plain water to quench her thirst, so she hope very hard holding the clover in her hand. Guess what the aunt came in around 10 min later to ask if we will like some water. Normally the aunt will only come once in the morning around 10+ and afternoon around 1+ and she seldoms ( almost never) makes the third trip.

The most lucky thing happened when we wanted to get a cab back to the office. Most of us should know how hard it is to get a cab after office hour. We waited for around 5 min and we decided to ask our senior to hope that the cab will come ( we was trying to test if the clover is really lucky) with the clover in her hand. Surprisingly 5 min later an empty cab appeared but sadly there was another woman right ahead of us so the cab aunt stop in front of her. For a moment we was really disappointed and thought that the clover might just be an accessory after all. In the end, guess what, the cab aunt didn't want to go to the location and instead she picked us up instead. Cool! It was really an interesting encounters! Don't you all agree. In the cab, we was describing about the clover to the aunt ( driver) and she decide she will have to get one too . Lol ! Cute aunt, she is call Jenny!!

And today I went with my secondary good friends to eat. We had Asian kitchen for dinner and we went to Ben and Jerry to eat the ice-cream. Wow! It was really nice but guess I got to work harder with my OTO now since I am growing sideways... Sobz ! Any idea how I can make my arms smaller... Hee do feel free to drop me comments k !! The most admired Star idol

Hee... I decided to share with all of you before i forget ... Yesterday there was an interview with all the contestant and I happen to be watching the interview.. There was this part of the show that really leaves me with a deep impression .. Alicia Neo, one of the top 8 contestants, was teased for being able to tolerate all kinds of scolding and you will be able to see a smile spread across her face again despite all the torments and scolding ... During the interview, she replied saying that she feels that if she cry over the matter the time will still pass, if she smile over the matter the time will still pass , so she will rather be happy and take it with a smile... These words really stayed in my mind for a very long while.. I always feel very upset when i get scolded and i might even tear if I can't control my feelings.. I really admire her and I think there is a lot to learned from her ... I shall be strong next time and try to smile even if I meet up with any setbacks ... She is a role model in this area !!!! Hee i must admit Bryan is really gd in acting though !!

Clover Day

Its time to blog again... Today I went to the Julieroberts shop to shop for clovers... I bought this one on the left for Benson... Sobz too poor already it costs $42.90 ... so i didn't have money to buy another one for myself... Do you believe that a clover in an accessory will really bring you luck? I posed that question to qi, and she said Enid Blyton book once wrote that if a person finds a four leave clover among all the other leaves then that person will really be lucky as only 1 out of a few million have 4 leaves... Do you agree with her ... Personally I feel that its not the accessory then brings luck ( perhaps its really magical) but the hope that it brings when you believe in it ... A believer will be psycologically feel lucky and it mind change the perception he looks at the same thing ... E.g Mr A get scolded for doing some thing wrong.. If he feel ver dejected after the scolding, he might think that he is just pretty dumb and not mend for the job.. But look from another angle, he might be ver glad that he made the mistake and learn from the lesson than in the future where the consequence is much worst.... hee that is how i feel about the lucky charm .. It gives hope and change people's perceptions ( which might be worth the investment). I always feel that i am not a very confident person ... Maybe i will save up really hard and get one for myself ^^.... Anyway i feel that the salespeople in the shop is really eloque because they are really persuasive ..

Now about lunch ... This afternoon I went with xian , angeline and an SMU intern called peixuan for lunch at the Yu Ji rice stall... It was very crowded as it was lunch time.. Then the waiter came and told us we could sit inside... There was only 2 very very narrow opening and one leads to the place where they chop their chickens and the other seems to lead us no where ... I was stunned for a moment .. but he hurried us in again as I didnt move after a minute as I was still puzzled. I was wondering " u expect us to sit with you while you cut your chicken in such a small area?" Feeling strange i entered the other narrow path which seems to lead me to nowhere... I walk for a few minutes and I entered an air condition room.. There was nothing in the room except tables for teh customers to sit ... Wow! I was really impressed.. For a moment, I felt like some character in the fairytale... I have came to a wonderland.. Got aircon and I no need to wait for seats ... It was really cool isnt it .... The stall is near ah moy street .. If you have a chance to walk through the path , don't be surprise to find a nice air con room where you can have your lunch and without having to stand too long to wait for seats......

Unlucky day

Today is a totally unlucky day ... sobz.. First thing in the morning, I requested for a document the client has promised weeks ago but to no avail... In the end, her assistant manager overheard my request and thought that i was chasing them... She called my manager immediately and warn us not to keep chasing....Sigh... Although the manager and the seniors didn't scold me, but I felt really bad .... I really ask very nicely.. but guess my G1 was right, she was just trying to protect her subordinate...So I guess she is quite a nice person after all... hee

Next up ... I went for lunch at the concourse foodcourt as it was raining and we couldn't go anywhere... There was a crowd and we managed to find a place after waiting for quite long.. The table was still in a mess as the previous customer just left, so i decided to ask the cleaner to come and clean up while my collegues go and line up for thier food... To my disappointment, the cleaner ignored me after several attempts (kindly) to ask him to help clean up the table... Hiaz ...

That was not all that happened in the foodcourt. I lined up for my food at a noodle stall... GUess what... The uncle forgot my order .. Sigh after around half an hour I finally got to sit down to eat .. What a taxing lunch....!!!

This was not the worst ... I have to take a cab back to the office as the senior requested to check through some old files... There was 4 files in all ( big) , together with my labtop and bag I headed back to the office... I boarded a premium cab... I am not sure of the taxi company's name but it was called premium.. Upon boarding the taxi, I was filled with blasting hokkien songs... To my amaze, the whole taxi was filled with statues of the buddhas and many other accessories... The whole taxi was filled up with excessive display... The taxi driver got a retro hair style, those kind you will see in the 80s.... Althought the noise was not very pleasing, I did not make any comments as it was just a short trip... On the way back to office, the taxi driver almost bang into a curb ... wa it was really a close shave... What a driver.. I thought he was just as bad as me who flunk my driving .... Finally we arrived at the office building.. The driver asked for a charge that was more than a meter... Being a logical person, I was really curious.. So I decided to ask... Instead of replying that he has no change which I would not mind forgoing the money as it was really insignificant, he started to lecture me sacastically .... By the time I was alightening, I was really fuming in anger ... What an unlucky day ...Getting scolded by a cab uncle when I did absolutely nothing wrong....

That is all for my unlucky day.. Now I shall share with you all a lucky charm ( not sure it really works) which my G1 brought me to see today... It is a clover, a leave with four "petals" ... I thought it was really unique as there is stories claiming that they married their boyfriends after they broke up after buying the clover... Others claim that they won lottery after they got the clover ... I am not sure how true it is but I guess it might be worth the try .. My Cute little cousin

Hee I must share this with all of you.. I have a cute little cousin name XXX ( confidential) .. She is 4 years old and she loves to sit on people's lab... She is so cute that i cant help but post her picture online ... Hee she cant speak too clearly so if you have a chance to talk to her , you got to decipher wat she is talking about ... Hee .. This is her picture.. I hope next time my child also looks as cute as she does...

OTO

I just bought a new OTO TX 808... It was really cool... I hope to slim down in the new year .. My weighting machine is getting more and more stress each day .. Now I am working at KPMG , my weight get worst as I got no additional time to exercise as I got to work overtime ever day .. Poor me...
Haha I hope this will help me slim down and i am banging on it .. So look out for me in sch k .. Haha i wanna know if I have get thinner.. lol
